Booking & Payments

  1. Booking is only confirmed and accepted once full deposit has been made
  2. Each group booking will need to appoint a lead booker. The lead booker will be the first and only point of contact for the group and need to provide full contact details. The lead booker must also confirm the following:
    1. They are over 18
    2. They accept the terms and conditions for the group.
    3. They have the authority to handle deposits, further payments and decisions by all other persons within the group.
  3. It is the responsibility of the lead booker to provide the terms and conditions to the rest of the group members and inform them where they can access them from.
  4. The lead booker will be personally responsible for all costs and charges for the account of the group.
  5. The holiday balance minus deposit must be paid no later than 12 weeks before departure. If booking within the 12 weeks full amount is required at time of booking.
  6. If the balance is not paid nor the funds cleared within 12 weeks of departure we may cancel your booking and the party will forfeit any deposit paid and incur a cancellation charge.

Cancellations and Charges

  1. Cancellation of a booking will only be accepted in writing from the lead booker.
  2. If a cancellation is made any deposits already paid are non refundable, together with purchased/ordered bait.
  3. Changes to the booking by lead booker will be accommodated if possible without an administration charge from Forest Lakes.
  4. Unless informed otherwise your accommodation and the fishing will be available from your date of holiday after 12pm until your day of departure at 10am.
  5. The venue may request a security deposit, this will be refunded in full unless the venue has damages or cleaning costs to the accommodation or fishery left by your party.
  6. All members of the party must have a valid UK/EU Passport, if permission from border authorities are declined, then no refund will be made.
  7. Forest Lakes may refuse to honour your booking if we judge your behaviour to be threading or harmful towards others, and no refunds will be made. Forest Lakes will not tolerate abusive behaviour towards us or providers. Forest lakes does not accept any illegal activity or taking of illegal substances. Under no circumstances will we accept anyone with these items on their luggage and or on their persons, if found we waive all responsibility and may refuse holiday with no monies refunded.
  8. We will not be liable for loss or delay occasioned by any of the following: strikes, riots, political unrest, hostilities, war or threat of war, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, fire, flood, technical/weather problems to transport, closure of ports, weather conditions or any other event(s) beyond our control.

General

  1. Forest Lakes strongly recommend that you per chase personal travel insurance and if driving, European vehicle breakdown cover.
  2. We process the personal data of all members of the party and may transmit such information to the providers if requested, we will have no control over such data once it has been passed to a provider. In connection with the storage and use of images as referred to below:
    1. We will delete non photographic data after six years.
    2. All photographic data either taken by us or sent to us by a party member will be kept indefinitely.
    3. We will use the lead booker details to send promotional data until the lead booker withdraws consent.
  3. Acceptance of these terms and conditions constitutes acceptance of a contract on these terms subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. The lead Booker accepts the responsibility of the party members behaviour and will reimburse Forest Lakes of costs and losses suffered due to unacceptable behaviour and damages to both property, the fishing lake, grounds and fish.
  4. If a complaint arises at Forest Lakes, it must be notified with staff immediately, then to inform Forest Lakes in writing and /or photographic evidence, you must give Forest Lake a chance to resolve the complaint whilst at the venue. We shall not deal with a complaint after the 7 days of return unless extraordinary circumstances. 
  5. Our aim is to provide a high level service to our customers, however we are not specialist operators in the field of holidays for the disabled, we must be informed at time of booking if a member of the party has any disability and we shall do our best to advise. 
  6. We ask the rules to be respected, if rules are broken then your holiday may be terminated without compensation. 
  7. Please note if children are being taken to Forest Lake, you do so entirely at your own risk, the persons taking the children are fully responsible for the behaviour and the safety, extra care should be taken around water.
